The Ancra 6mm Ratchet Loadbinder with Grab Hooks is a chain tensioning device that uses a ratchet mechanism — gear, pawl, and handle working together — to multiply the operator's force and tension 6mm Grade 70 transport chain smoothly and progressively. Ratchet loadbinders take slightly longer to operate than lever-style versions but they reduce stored energy in the handle, which lowers the kickback risk on release and makes them a safer choice on heavier or repeated tie-down work. Forged steel winged grab hooks on each end seat onto chain links with cradles on both outer jaws that prevent chain deformation and preserve the chain's full lashing capacity. Manufactured from steel with a powder-coated blue finish, rated to a 2,300kg lashing capacity, and built to comply with AS/NZS 4344:2001.
